What do you do when you struggle to feel comfortable in your own home country?
Lesly Calles found herself in this situation growing up and planning to continue her education after returning from a LDS mission in England.
Despite her patriotism to her home country of Spain she felt like there could have been better influences somewhere in the world. The people around her seemed to have lost the eternal perspective on life and that affected her.
After praying she felt it would be best if she went to the United States to study rather than attending a university in Spain. When she got on the plane she ached to know for certain if this was the right decision.
When the plane landed in the United States she felt something blossom in her heart. A new love had bloomed from a place she could not recognize. Her confirmation manifested itself within her and she knew she had arrived to where she needed to be.
She wants to be able to share that love with her home country and let them know that they do not have to settle for anything in life if they are willing to take a step of faith.
