There were some really exciting announcements made last night on the Pokémon live stream concerning updates to current games, new games to be released and even a clothing line. Some of these announcements focus only to a specific regions of countries so we will be covering the worldwide news and United States specific news. Scroll to the bottom if you want to catch all the announcements made yourself.
The first announcement made was a new Pokemon game being released on the Nintendo Switch: Detective Pikachu 2.
With the success of the new movie and the first Detective Pikachu game ending on a cliff hanger, Nintendo announced they will be releasing a squeal game. The date hasn't been released yet but there is bound to be more information at E3 this summer.
The next announcement made was a new app to be released in 2020 called Pokémon Home. This app is similar to the Pokémon Bank where players can use a cloud service to store their Pokémon and use them in other games. Pokémon Home is unique because it will be on a smartphone and is usable with 3DS games as well as Pokémon Go and the Nintendo Switch games like Lets Go and the new Sword and Shield Games that will be released later this year.
There we no talks of if this service will cost money like "Pokémon Bank" does but they did show how the transfer system would work.

As you can see in the screenshot above, Pokémon Home will be a means for players to transfer their Pokémon from the 3DS to the Switch, an issue players were concerned about with the announcement of Sword and Shield. It is also worth noting that the Sword and Shield games are the only ones that have the ability to transfer back and forth from the Home to the game. All other games are a one way transfer to the app.
Another important note is that it appears that players will be able to trade with one another via their smartphones through the app. Not a lot of information was released about this feature but it is expected that we will learn more at E3.

The next announcement was a new smartphone game called Pokémon Sleep. This app is basically the opposite of Pokémon Go where they game will track how much you sleep and reward you for that.

With the new game there is a device players "Pokémon GO Plus +" (Yeah, we're raving at the creativity too). The unique feature to the Plus + is that it monitors your sleep and sends that information to the game. There were no details released in regards to how a player is rewarded but there are benefits to getting a good nights rest. There was no price listed for the Pokémon GO Plus +.
The last game related announcement was a new smartphone app slated to be released sometime in 2019. The title is called "Pokémon Masters."

The app allows players to battle on the go with iconic characters from the franchises RPG games. If you watch the video you can see a demonstration of the game here. There weren't many details released after the demonstration but we can expect more information to be released in June.
Lastly the clothing brand, "Pokémon Shirts" is being opened up to the United States and Europe. The clothing is made to order and features prints of the original 151 Pokémon. So you better believe we're ordering some button up "Eeveeloution" shirts!
